Event Recap
The April 14, 2025 episode of WWE Raw had the usual mix of solid wrestling, chaotic interference, and the feeling that the roster is slowly running out of patience with each other as WrestleMania gets closer. The in-ring action started with Bayley grinding out a hard-fought win over Liv Morgan, catching her with a slick jackknife pin after Liv spent much of the match trying to keep control with help lurking at ringside. Later, Rey Mysterio reminded everyone he can still steal a show when he wants, surviving the power game of Julius Creed before finally landing the 619 and a splash to pick up the win. AJ Styles and Karrion Kross followed with a physical match that leaned heavily on Kross trying to slow things down and Styles refusing to let him. Once Styles created an opening, he did what Styles does—Phenomenal Forearm, lights out, match over. The night wrapped up with Finn Bálor and Penta tearing into each other in a fast match that looked like it was building to a strong finish before the chaos arrived. Interference and a sudden attack from Bron Breakker blew the whole thing up and handed Bálor the win by disqualification. It wasn’t the clean ending fans probably wanted, but it definitely fit the mood of a Raw where nobody seems content to settle things with just a normal match anymore. Not a perfect show, but the wrestling itself held up well enough to keep the crowd engaged.

Summary
Bayley squared off with Liv Morgan in a competitive singles match that had plenty of back-and-forth momentum. Liv came in with Raquel Rodriguez at ringside and tried to slow the match down with targeted offense, working Bayley over whenever she could create an opening. Bayley responded with experience and ring awareness, constantly finding ways to counter Morgan’s quick attacks and regain control. The pace picked up in the second half with both women trading near falls and signature offense. The finish came when Bayley caught Morgan off guard with a jackknife pin, stacking her shoulders down long enough to secure the three-count. It was a solid technical win for Bayley and a good reminder that even when things get chaotic, she still knows how to steal a match with the right counter at the right time.

Summary
AJ Styles went one-on-one with Karrion Kross in a match that started out as a methodical fight before picking up speed as it went along. Kross focused on slowing the pace early, using heavy strikes and power offense to keep Styles from building momentum. Styles eventually flipped the script by relying on quick counters and fast combinations that forced Kross onto the defensive. Once Styles got rolling, the match shifted into a faster exchange of near falls and signature moves. The finish came when Styles created enough separation to launch himself off the ropes and land the Phenomenal Forearm, dropping Kross and scoring the clean pinfall victory. It was a straightforward but effective win that showcased Styles’ ability to turn a match around once the tempo shifts in his favor.

Summary
Finn Bálor and Penta closed out the night’s in-ring action with a fast and aggressive matchup that didn’t stay under control for long. Both wrestlers traded quick strikes and counters early, with Penta bringing his high-impact offense while Bálor relied on precision and timing. The match stayed competitive with neither man gaining a clear advantage until things unraveled outside the ring. Bron Breakker suddenly charged into the situation and attacked Bálor, causing the referee to call for the disqualification. The bell stopped the match before a clear winner could be determined, and the chaos continued afterward as Breakker left both competitors laid out. It wasn’t the clean ending fans might have hoped for, but the intensity leading up to the stoppage made the match feel like it was building toward something bigger.
