Event Recap
Raw kicked off hot in Indianapolis, because WWE wisely understands that if Seth Rollins is in the building, you don’t save him for hour three. Rollins opened the show by making a beeline for Paul Heyman and absolutely blasting him with a chair. No riddles, no monologue — just violence. The crowd ate it up, and while WWE will almost certainly drag this out longer than necessary, the opening five minutes felt urgent in a way Raw sometimes forgets how to be.
Later in the night, Roman Reigns and CM Punk finally shared the ring, and while the promo was intense, it leaned more into verbal sparring than emotional damage. Punk landed some sharp shots, Reigns stayed icy, and the crowd stayed loud — though you could feel fans waiting for something extra that never quite came. Solid, but not legendary.
In-ring, the Intercontinental Title scene actually delivered. Penta dethroning Dominik Mysterio was fast, chaotic, and satisfying, even with Judgment Day nonsense hovering nearby. Penta feels like a real upgrade, even if Dom’s heat did a lot of the heavy lifting.
Meanwhile, GUNTHER continued his march through the roster by steamrolling Dragon Lee in a match that existed to remind everyone that chops still hurt and mercy is optional. Add in Logan Paul sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong, and you had a Raw that wasn’t perfect — but it was loud, physical, and rarely dull. I’ll take that.

Paul Heyman and what's left of The Vision, Logan Paul and Austin Theory, make their way to the rind. The three men take turns ranting and raving about Seth "Freaking" Rollins for costing Logan Paul a trip to WrestleMania. They threaten to hold the show hostage. Adam Pearce shows up with security and tells The Vision to leave the ring so the show can go on and he can talk to Seth Rollins himself. Multiple masked men show up, leading Adam Pearce, his security, and both Logan and Austin on chases through the crowds. This leave Heyman alone in the ring, and one last decoy allows Seth Rollins to smash Heyman with a chair and hit his trademark curb stomp. We cut to commerical as medics rush to check on Heyman.

Summary
Dragon Lee didn't wait for the match to start. He attacked Gunther during his entrance and the two brawled as we went to commercial. The match started during the commercial break, and this was a fiery start to RAW. Dragon Lee had a passion and drive that he rarely shows. He matched Gunther's brutality and persistance for much of the match. Two two traded powerful clotheslines, and chops. The battle went to the outside on several occasions, and led to some big spots. Gunther sent Dragon Lee into the announce table with a massive power bomb and Dragon Lee countered a power bomb with a sunset flip that sent Gunther smashing to the ground. It looked like either man could win by count out on separate occasions, but in the end, Gunther ripped of Dragon Lee's mask while sinking in the sleeper hold which led to a quick tap out from the Luchadore.

Rusev interrupts a highlight video of Obe Femi's win over The Miz at last week's SmackDown. He says he knows Obe Femi is here and says if he wants to fight, they should fight RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.
The lights dim and Oba Femi's music hits. I think we've got a match! Except, Oba walks out in street clothes...And grabs a mic. He tells Rusev to stop talking and get in the ring and make something happen.
The two face off for a beat. Then the fists start flying. There is no referee and this is not a match. Oba tosses Rusev around and knocks him out of the ring. This isn't over...

Since any match involving The Vision is always more likely to finish in a DQ or No Contest, it came as no surprise that this match ended quickly when Logan Paul attacked and pummeled Jimmy Uso. Jey Uso's music hit. Instead of running down the ramp, he appeared behind The Vision bringing his crutches as weapons for him and Jimmy. The Uso's got the upper hand and chased The Vision out of the ring. Do I smell a tag title feud in the making?

Summary
Dominic arrived at the ring with his Judgement Day pals, Finn and JD, by his side. They took up front row seats for the match, as per Dom's request.
Penta and Dominic had a back and forth affair, with each of them hitting big spots, with near-falls and close calls. When Penta had Dominic against the ropes, literally and figuratively, and looked poised to put it away, Dom asked Finn and JD to get him the ring hammer. JD grabbed the hammer but Finn stopped him. He insisted Dominic said he wanted to do it on his own and Finn was adamant they give him that opportunity. Without outside help Dom took a Penta-driver and the pin...1...2...3. Penta finally beats Dom and becomes our new Intercontinental Champion!!!
