Event Recap
The June 13, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown from Rupp Arena in Lexington was a marathon of Fatal 4‑Way carnage and promos with plenty of attitude, and the crowd was buzzing even if some segments dragged a bit longer than they should’ve. The show kicked off with Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena in the ring cutting a promo about how he’s been outsmarting everyone lately—only to get blindsided twice by Ron “The Truth” Killings on the ramp, setting a chaotic vibe right from the start. From there, the night got into full tournament mode with four King & Queen of the Ring fatal four‑way matches, a WWE record for a single SmackDown. Randy Orton slugged his way through a stacked field of LA Knight, Aleister Black and Carmelo Hayes, ultimately catching Knight with an RKO to punch his ticket to the semifinals. Over on the women’s side, Jade Cargill steamrolled past Nia Jax, Michin and Piper Niven, showing off her power before finishing Niven with a Jaded for the win. Alexa Bliss also advanced, surviving a wild four‑way against Charlotte Flair, Alba Fyre and Candice LeRae with a Sister Abigail on LeRae, though the finish had some messy moments. In the tag ranks, The Wyatt Sicks put the boots to Motor City Machine Guns, reminding everyone they’re a force even if the click‑bait booking still leaves the division undercooked. The main‑event fatal four‑way saw Cody Rhodes outlast Damian Priest, Shinsuke Nakamura and Andrade, hitting multiple Cross Rhodes to close things out and keep his momentum alive heading deeper into the King of the Ring. All in all, it was a packed show where the crowd got a ton of action, even if not every moment landed perfectly—and that Cena/Truth dust‑up gave the later matches some extra buzz as SmackDown barrels toward Night of Champions.

Summary
This opener was a chaotic four‑way that saw all four men trading offense early, with Orton hitting a near‑RKO and Black landing some sharp precision strikes. Knight suddenly flipped the script with a surprise jumping neckbreaker that leveled everyone, making it look like he might steal the win. But then Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker showed up, wading into the ring and neutralizing Knight long enough for Orton to capitalize. Randy set up both Black and Hayes with his apron DDT before countering a Hayes frog splash into a crisp RKO for the pin. It wasn’t a masterclass, but the finish got the job done and keeps Orton moving in the tournament.

Summary
Jade Cargill looked dominant in this four‑way cluster. Jax and Niven started by forming a short‑lived alliance, dumping Michin early and then brawling into the crowd together. That implosion gave Jade time to recover after being tossed over the announce table, and she methodically worked through her opponents with power moves and mat control. In the end, she caught Niven after some earlier chaos, hoisted her up, and crushed her with her signature Jaded for the win. Solid showing by all, and Cargill looked like the clear powerhouse in the field.

Summary
Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis stepped in and absolutely put the hurt on two veterans tonight. Sabin and Shelley tried to bring their usual technical tag team craft, but the Wyatt Sicks’ combination of frenetic speed and hard hits just overwhelmed them. There wasn’t a ton of back‑and‑forth pin‑trading here — it was more a display of brutality. The finish came when Lumis hit Shelley with a massive top‑rope leg drop (directed by Uncle Howdy, apparently) and pinned him to seal the win. Not a classic, but a convincing result for the Sicks.

Summary
This one was energetic from bell to bell. Fyre slid into the match unexpectedly and aligned early with LeRae to isolate Bliss and Flair, creating some tense moments. Flair even locked in the Figure Eight on multiple opponents, but LeRae and Bliss kept escaping. LeRae hit a sweet Lionsault that almost ended it before Flair nearly had Bliss scouted again. Ultimately, Bliss found her opening and nailed Sister Abigail on LeRae to pick up the pin. A fun, action‑heavy four‑way that saw each woman get a moment to shine.

Summary
Closing out the tournament action was this hotly anticipated four‑way, and it did not disappoint in sheer scrappiness. Cody kicked things off by setting up a table on the outside — a risky move that backfired when Nakamura sent him through it with a strike. Priest and Andrade both had their flashes, exchanging offense and trying to isolate each other, but Rhodes kept crawling back into it. The finish came in emphatic fashion when Cody hit three Cross Rhodes — one on each opponent — before pinning Nakamura in the center of the ring. Crowd popped big for that one, and it was a strong way to end the match card.
