Event Recap
The May 26, 2025 episode of WWE Raw felt like a full-on sprint toward Money in the Bank, stacking the card with qualifiers and just enough chaos to keep things interesting—even if a few moments leaned a little too hard on the usual tricks. The night kicked off with momentum right away as Penta punched his ticket into the ladder match, beating Dragon Lee and Chad Gable in a fast, hard-hitting triple threat that didn’t waste a second. Rusev then bulldozed Akira Tozawa in under a minute, which was less a match and more a statement, especially with the post-match tension hinting that he’s not done wrecking people anytime soon. The New Day managed to hang onto the World Tag Team Titles in a chaotic triple threat against the Creed Brothers and War Raiders, stealing the win in classic opportunistic fashion that fits them perfectly—even if it felt like the challengers did most of the heavy lifting. Kairi Sane picked up a nice win over Liv Morgan in Morgan’s return match, though the ringside distractions made it feel a little more cluttered than it needed to be. The main event delivered the biggest stakes, with Seth Rollins outlasting Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn to qualify for Money in the Bank, only for CM Punk to crash the moment and lay him out to close the show. It was a busy, sometimes overstuffed episode, but the urgency worked—Raw felt like it actually had somewhere to be, even if it tripped over itself a couple times getting there.

Summary
This triple threat had the kind of pace you’d expect with three guys who specialize in quick offense and constant movement. Dragon Lee tried to keep things airborne early, while Chad Gable leaned into suplexes and technical control whenever he could get someone grounded. Penta floated somewhere between both styles, picking his moments rather than rushing the action. The match broke into chaos late, with near falls stacking up and everyone trying to steal it before the others could react. In the end, Penta caught Gable with the Penta Driver and scored the pin to qualify. It was energetic without turning sloppy, and Penta’s timing at the finish made him look sharp.

Summary
This one was short and brutally direct. Akira Tozawa tried to bring speed into the match early, darting around and landing quick strikes in hopes of avoiding a full-on power fight. Unfortunately for him, that plan only lasted so long before Rusev got his hands on him. Once Rusev slowed things down, the tone shifted fast. A couple heavy shots later, he locked in the Accolade and forced the submission. It wasn’t competitive for very long, but that seemed intentional. Rusev looked like a wrecking ball here, and Tozawa mostly served as the unlucky guy standing in front of it.

Summary
Triple threat tag matches usually get messy, and this one definitely leaned into that. The Creed Brothers and War Raiders brought the power early, trading suplexes and big collisions while New Day stayed a little more opportunistic. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods spent a lot of the match picking their spots instead of trying to overpower anyone, which honestly felt like the smartest strategy available. The closing stretch turned chaotic with all three teams scrambling for control. Just when it looked like the Creeds might pull it off, Woods rolled up Julius Creed and grabbed the tights for leverage to steal the pin and retain the titles. It wasn’t the cleanest win, but New Day have been around long enough to know exactly when to bend the rules.

Summary
Kairi Sane and Liv Morgan worked a quick, aggressive match that didn’t waste much time settling in. Morgan pushed the pace early with strikes and counters, trying to overwhelm Sane before she could start flying around the ring. Sane gradually flipped that dynamic once she found space, landing sharper offense and forcing Morgan to react instead. The match stayed competitive for a while, with both getting believable near falls, but Sane eventually seized the momentum and finished the job with her signature offense to secure the victory. It was a tight match that never dragged, and Sane’s timing down the stretch gave her a convincing win

Summary
The main event triple threat felt a little heavier than the earlier one, mostly because all three guys leaned into strikes and bigger offense instead of constant aerial spots. Sami Zayn played the scrappy survivor role, hanging around the edges and jumping into openings when he could. Finn Bálor mixed speed with occasional Judgment Day-style opportunism, while Seth Rollins balanced both approaches and kept the pace moving. The closing minutes turned frantic with counters and interrupted pin attempts, but Rollins eventually capitalized and secured the win to qualify. The celebration didn’t last long, though, because CM Punk showed up immediately afterward and dropped Rollins with a GTS to end the show on a chaotic note,
