Event Recap
The June 2, 2025 episode of WWE Raw had all the energy of a go-home show that knew it had a lot to cram in—and for the most part, it delivered, even if it got a little messy by the end. The big headline was the chaotic Triple Threat main event where El Grande Americano somehow outlasted CM Punk and AJ Styles to snag the final Men’s Money in the Bank spot, and yeah, it took interference from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to get there, which is becoming a theme whether we like it or not. Earlier in the night, Stephanie Vaquer punched her ticket in the women’s qualifier by beating Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile in a fast-paced three-way that didn’t overstay its welcome. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn teamed up to take on Breakker and Reed, but the match threw out a clean finish in favor of more chaos, which pretty much sums up this entire faction war right now. The Judgment Day quietly picked up a solid win over the War Raiders, while Kairi Sane scored a nice singles victory over Raquel Rodriguez, giving the undercard some needed movement. Still, the show lived and died by that closing angle, where Seth Rollins’ crew stood tall after laying out Punk, Uso, and Zayn in a beatdown that felt equal parts effective and overdone. It wasn’t a perfect Raw—some finishes leaned a little too heavily on interference—but as a final push before Money in the Bank, it did its job and left just enough tension hanging in the air.

Summary
The opening triple threat had all three women digging in hard for that final spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and Stephanie Vaquer came out looking like she belonged on Raw right away. Morgan and Nile both brought intensity—Liv with her explosive offense and Nile with some impressive powerbombs—but Stephanie kept weaving in offense at exactly the right moments. The middle of the match turned into a bit of a pinning scramble with near falls and reversals all over the ring, and Liv even seemed like she might steal it with Oblivion before Nile tried to swoop in. Vaquer survived that flurry and eventually landed the Devil’s Kiss and a sunset flip off the ropes to score the pin and punch her ticket. It wasn’t flawless, but her timing and opportunism carried her through a loaded field.

Summary
Judgment Day and The War Raiders turned into a brutally physical tag team matchup that leaned into the strengths of both duos. Erik and Ivar brought their trademark chaos and big‑man offense early, chopping and slamming whenever they had the chance, but Bálor and McDonagh stuck with more methodical tactics, isolating Ivar at stretches and tagging cleanly. Things tilted once The New Day was baited out of the building and The War Raiders lost some of their momentum with Woods and Kingston sent backstage, allowing Judgment Day to dictate the closing stretch. Roxanne Perez even showed up at ringside to tilt the odds further, which opened the door for Bálor to hit Coup de Grace and finish Ivar for the win. There were flashes of intensity and sizable hits throughout, and Judgment Day walked out looking the more cohesive unit by the final bell.

Summary
This tag match was wild from the jump, with Sami Zayn and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso trying to use agility and teamwork to offset the sheer brute force that Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed brought to every exchange. Breakker and Reed were relentless, battering both Uso and Zayn until it felt like they were trying to straight‑up demolish them instead of just win. Sami and Jey got in some high‑flying dives that hyped the crowd and provided flashes of hope, but as soon as Rollins’ faction sauntered down, the tone changed. Seth Rollins ran in and nailed Uso with a stomp, turning what was shaping up to be a war into a DQ finish and a total brawl. Punk ran in to even the sides briefly, but then Rollins and crew returned to systematically take everyone apart with spears, Blackouts, and Reed’s splash. The match might not have reached a clean finish, but the carnage at the end made clear that this group beatdown was the real focal point of the night.

Summary
Kairi Sane came out swinging and kept the pressure on Raquel Rodriguez from the opening bell, showing off crisp striking and movement that stood in stark contrast to Raquel’s power‑grounded style. The match was relatively short but had enough bump exchanges and quick counters to keep it engaging without feeling rushed. Just when it seemed like Rodriguez might start wearing Sane down with her size advantage, IYO SKY interrupted a Liv Morgan distraction attempt, effectively even‑ing the odds and giving Sane her window. Kairi seized that opportunity and dropped Rodriguez with the Insane Elbow for the clean pin, earning an impressive win over a former champion. It wasn’t a long contest, but those final moments showed Sane’s ring IQ and ability to hit her signature move at precisely the right time to steal the victory.

Summary
This was the biggest, most chaotic match of the night, and it delivered exactly that—three big names with different styles colliding for a MITB spot that was suddenly more than just bragging rights. Punk and Styles briefly tried teaming up to eliminate Americano early, only to have that tenuous alliance fall apart when America came right back with high‑impact offense and some stunning resilience. Near falls piled up as Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm and Punk hit multiple Go to Sleeps, but El Grande Americano kept surviving. The match took a hard turn when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed crashed the party, pulling Punk out of the ring and flattening him on the floor until Sami Zayn and Jey Uso tried to even the odds. Amid the mayhem, Styles lined up for his signature move—but Americano countered with a massive headbutt that stunned him just long enough to secure the pin and qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. It was messy, it was intense, and it gave us an unlikely new entrant in Americano who had just enough timing and resilience to steal the night despite all the outside interference.
