Event Recap
Raw on 6/9/25 set the tone for the month with a mix of physical matches, strong crowd reactions, and a main event scene already leaning into chaos more than clean finishes. The show opened with CM Punk calling out Roman Reigns and The Vision, delivering a sharp promo that immediately got the crowd engaged and made it clear he wasn’t backing down from anyone. In singles action, Gunther handled JD McDonagh with his usual blend of chops and control, finishing things with the Sleeper Hold in a match that was more about dominance than suspense, while Rhea Ripley overpowered Roxanne Perez in a hard-hitting bout that ended cleanly with the Riptide. The women’s division featured Stephanie Vaquer retaining the WWE Women’s World Championship against Bayley, using smart counters and positioning to keep the title around her waist. Tag team action saw AJ Styles & Dragon Lee defeat Los Americanos, delivering a fast-paced match with enough high-flying offense to keep the crowd locked in. The main event brought The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) against Roman Reigns & Jey Uso, and like the weeks that followed, it quickly broke down into a chaotic brawl with interference and bodies flying, leaving fans buzzing but still waiting for something more definitive to close things out.

Summary
This was a tight, technically driven match that stayed engaging from start to finish without ever quite hitting that next gear. Chad Gable controlled long stretches early, throwing AJ Styles around with German suplexes and locking in an Ankle Lock that looked legitimately dangerous after countering a Phenomenal Forearm. Gable kept the pressure on, even landing a diving headbutt that felt like a turning point, but as has become routine, he couldn’t quite close the deal. Styles weathered the storm, picked his opening, and planted Gable with a Styles Clash out of nowhere to steal the win. Strong showing for both, even if Gable once again ends up being the guy who impresses more than he wins.

Summary
This was pure chaos in the way most Fatal 4-Ways are—fast-paced, messy, and built around timing more than structure. Rhea Ripley looked like the most dominant force throughout, tossing opponents around and seemingly having the match won after hitting a Riptide on Liv Morgan, but outside interference from Raquel Rodriguez broke that up and kept things alive. Kairi Sane nearly stole it with an Insane Elbow, while Morgan and Roxanne Perez picked their spots rather than trying to overpower anyone. In the end, Perez capitalized at exactly the right moment, sliding in to steal the pin and advance. Not the cleanest win, but definitely the smartest in a match where survival mattered more than dominance.

Summary
This one leaned fully into the chaos, with all four guys bringing something different and rarely slowing down long enough for things to settle. Bron Breakker stood out with sheer power, absolutely wrecking Dominik Mysterio with a spear that sent him flying over the announce table, while Penta added the high-impact offense and Sami Zayn filled his usual role as the guy who refuses to stay down. Dominik mostly got tossed around and complained, which is basically his lane at this point. The finish came after outside involvement from LA Knight created just enough distraction for Zayn to jump in and grab the win. It wasn’t the cleanest ending, but it fit the frantic pace and gave Zayn a hard-earned victory in a match where nobody really stayed in control for long.

Summary
This felt more like a grind than a spectacle, with Gunther methodically breaking Jey Uso down instead of trying to outpace him. Jey had his bursts of momentum, feeding off the crowd and using his speed to create openings, but every time he started to build something, Gunther cut him off with punishing chops and heavy strikes that slowed everything back down. The match had a clear tone—Jey fighting to stay alive while Gunther imposed control—and it stuck to that the whole way through. Jey hung in longer than expected and made it competitive, but Gunther never really lost his grip, eventually putting him away clean to win back the World Heavyweight Championship. It wasn’t flashy, but it was decisive, and it made Gunther look like the more complete force by the end.
