Event Recap
Raw came live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 8/18/25 with a loaded card and plenty of heat that had the Philly crowd eating out of WWE’s hand even when things got a little ridiculous. The women kicked things off in a really good opener as IYO SKY hit an Over the Moonsault to defeat Raquel Rodriguez, and even though Roxanne Perez and Rodriguez tried to stack the odds afterward, Rhea Ripley ran in to level the playing field and leave tensions simmering. Penta brought the pain to Xavier Woods, blasting him with the Mexican Destroyer, while the World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh stood tall against Mr. Iguana & Dragon Lee, though a post‑match run‑in by El Hijo del Vikingo added flavor to that chaos. The Intercontinental women’s scene stayed rugged as Becky Lynch forced Natalya to tap to the Dis‑Arm‑Her — and then Nikki Bella swooped in to hammer Becky right after the pin for an extra beat. The big real moment of the night came when Naomi announced her pregnancy and vacated the Women’s World Title, which split the room between cheers and shocked gasps. And then in brutal Extreme Rules fashion, Jey Uso and Bron Breakker tore the house down with chairs and trashcans everywhere, with help from LA Knight, CM Punk, Seth Rollins and finally Roman Reigns’ spear turning the tide so Uso could hit the splash through a table for the win — a finish that sent Philly nuts and left Raw ending on one hell of a contentious note.

Summary
This was a solid contrast match that mostly delivered on what you’d expect—Raquel Rodriguez using power to control early while IYO SKY worked to stay mobile and avoid getting flattened. Raquel had a few stretches where she slowed things down and imposed her size, but IYO kept finding counters instead of trying to match strength for strength. The finish came when Raquel went for the Tejana Bomb and SKY flipped it into a hurricanrana, immediately following up with Over the Moonsault for the pin. Clean, efficient, and honestly one of the more satisfying finishes on the show.

Summary
This one was all about pace, and thankfully it didn’t get bogged down by too much outside nonsense. Xavier Woods had backup at ringside, but the match itself stayed relatively focused, with Woods trying to keep things grounded while Penta pushed the tempo. Once Penta got rolling, it turned into a highlight reel of quick strikes and high-impact offense. Woods had a couple of near-falls, but he never really took control for long. The finish came when Penta hit his signature sequence, including a flipping destroyer-style move, to pick up the win. Straightforward match that did its job without overstaying.
Summary
This match had a fun underdog vibe, mostly because Dragon Lee and Mr. Iguana came in with energy and actually pushed the champions more than expected. Iguana’s Raw debut added some unpredictability, while Lee handled most of the fast-paced offense to keep things competitive. Bálor and McDonagh, though, stayed composed and leaned into experience, cutting off momentum whenever things started to swing. Once they slowed the match down, it became more one-sided, and they eventually retained after hitting their finish. The post-match beatdown felt unnecessary but very on-brand for Judgment Day at this point.

Summary
This was about as straightforward as a title defense gets, which honestly worked in its favor given how chaotic the rest of the show was. Natalya kept things technical early, trying to control Becky Lynch on the mat, but once Becky found her rhythm, she took over and never really gave it back. There weren’t many believable near-falls, but the execution was clean and consistent. Becky locked in the Dis-Arm-Her and forced the submission without needing any distractions or shortcuts. Not a standout match, but a rare clean finish that didn’t try to be more than it needed to be.

Summary
This was the main event and easily the most chaotic match of the night, leaning fully into the “no rules” setup. Jey Uso and Bron Breakker didn’t waste time getting into weapons and brawling all over the place, with Breakker bringing his usual intensity and Jey trying to match it with speed and timing. The match never really settled into a traditional rhythm, instead building through interference and escalating chaos. Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and LA Knight all got involved at different points, turning it into a full-on mess. In the end, Roman Reigns showed up and tipped the balance, allowing Jey to pick up the win. Not exactly clean, but it was never going to be.
