Event Recap
Friday’s WWE SmackDown from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida was a classic post‑Wrestlepalooza episode that balanced fun ring action with some frustrating finish moments. The Street Profits earned a big win over Melo Don’t Miz to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship, reminding everyone why they’re not just crowd pleasers but legit contenders. Giulia and Kiana James picked up a solid tag victory over Michin and B‑FAB, and Sami Zayn answered his U.S. Title open challenge by handing a competitive Je’Von Evans a decisive loss with his Helluva Kick and Blue Thunder Bomb combination, keeping his belt safe. The night’s main event had tons of fire from Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax, but a confusing referee count muddled what was otherwise intense triple threat action before Stratton sealed the victory with her moonsault to retain the Women’s Championship. Backstage and in segments, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton created tension with The Vision and teased future conflict, and the show set up big stakes heading into Crown Jewel events. Some matches delivered crisp, entertaining moments while others left fans shaking their heads at the execution, but overall it was the kind of chaotic SmackDown night you remember long enough to complain about on social.

Summary
The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) walked into this tag battle against Melo Don’t Miz (The Miz and Carmelo Hayes) looking hungry, and that’s exactly how it played out. Miz and Hayes tried their usual blend of sneaky tactics and quick tags, with Miz tagging himself in way too often and almost costing them early momentum. The Profits soaked up the early pressure, then flipped the script with crisp tandem offense when Dawkins finally got in the ring. Ford got the hot tag and finished things with his trademark From the Heavens splash on Miz for the pinfall. It was straightforward tag ring‑generalship from Montez and Angelo that reminded everyone they aren’t just fun guys, they can win when it matters.

Summary
This one was a bit chaotic from bell to bell. Giulia and Kiana James used a blend of power and quick strike offense to keep Michin and B‑FAB on their heels, while Michin and B‑FAB tried to rally with technique and speed. At one point it looked like Michin might seize control with a flying attack, but James pulled her into some rough‑and‑tumble double‑team spots that kept the momentum shifting. The decisive moment came when Giulia hit a northern lights bomb on Mia Yim and pinned her for the clean fall. It wasn’t the most elegant tag mat‑wrestling clinic you’ll ever see, but credit to Giulia and James for seizing their opportunities and clearing the ring.

Summary
For his U.S. Title defense, Sami Zayn welcomed NXT’s Je’Von Evans as his challenger, and Evans definitely brought energy. The two traded chops and counters early, with Evans surprising Zayn with a couple of quick near‑falls that got the crowd invested. Zayn weathered that early storm and struck back with a series of stiff strikes and suplexes before dropping Evans with his Helluva Kick. He followed up with a Blue Thunder Bomb for the three‑count. Zayn didn’t just win, he looked like a champ who can handle surprise challengers and still walk out with the belt.

Summary
This main event was supposed to be epic and on paper it was stacked, but what actually happened felt muddled at times. Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax brawled hard early, with Cargill and Jax trading heavy hits that had the crowd buzzing. There were moments where it seemed like either challenger might steal it, including a big finisher from Cargill that almost grabbed a fall. Then the finish got confusing when the referee counted what looked like a two when Jax never clearly kicked out, which drew audible boos from fans. After a brief stumble, Stratton recovered and hit her Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Jax to finally secure the clean pin. Even with the rough ending, Stratton kept her undefeated run intact and will be moving on to a huge matchup at Crown Jewel.
