DRAFTASTIC FREE AGENT REPORT

Your Weekly Guide to Free Agent Points

Free Agent Report_ October 19th–24th

Championship opportunities, potential upsets, and a few sneaky point grabs headline this week's announced matches. Whether you're hunting for a game-changing pickup or just trying to squeeze a few extra points out of your roster, there are opportunities to be had. But remember, GMs: not every match is worth burning a free agent move on. Choose wisely!

Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley (c) vs. B-Fab & Michin

Women's Tag Team Championship | Friday Night SmackDown

Potential Points: 1–7 each for Bliss & Paxley | 1–8 each for B-Fab & Michin

This might be the closest thing to free money you'll find on the waiver wire this week. Bliss and Paxley are overwhelming favorites to retain their titles, making either woman a smart pickup. Snag both, and you could walk away with a combined 14 points from one match. That's the kind of return that can swing a weekly matchup in your favor. Unless you're feeling particularly adventurous, leave B-Fab and Michin for someone else.

Joe Hendry vs. JD McDonagh

Monday Night Raw | Potential Points: 1–3 each

Say his name, and he appears. Pick him up, and he might just deliver three points! Joe Hendry squares off against JD McDonagh in a matchup offering a solid opportunity for GMs looking to squeeze a little extra production out of their roster. Pick the winner correctly and collect three points, or grab both competitors and lock in a combined four points. Not a blockbuster return, but sometimes the little victories make all the difference.

Giulia vs. Blake Monroe

Friday Night SmackDown | Potential Points: 1–3 each

Two talented competitors, one opportunity to cash in. Giulia and Blake Monroe square off in a matchup that could go either way, but I'm putting my money on Monroe. A correct prediction earns you three points, while rostering both guarantees a combined four points under the projected scoring. If you're looking for a relatively low-risk way to pad your weekly total, this one deserves a look.

The MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga) vs. Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki)

Non-Title Match | Friday Night SmackDown | Potential Points: 1–3 each

Four competitors, plenty of possibilities, and another chance to turn available roster space into points. With no championship on the line, the ceiling isn't particularly high, but picking the winning side could provide a nice little boost. If you've got room to maneuver, this is worth keeping on your radar. Just don't mistake a decent point opportunity for a must-add.

Cruz Montana vs. Dion Lennox

Tuesday Night NXT | Potential Points: 0.5–3.5 each

Here's a matchup with some sneaky upside. If Montana and Lennox land the main event slot on Tuesday, their potential fantasy value gets a nice bump. Grab the winner and you could pocket 3.5 points, or roster both competitors for a combined five points if the match closes the show. That's a respectable return for an NXT matchup, but the main event placement is the key. Keep an eye on Tuesday's card before making your move.

Chazz Hall, EK Prosper & Mini Vikingo vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Jackson Drake & Ricky Smokes)

Tuesday Night NXT | Potential Points: 0.5–1.5 each

Not every free agent pickup is going to set the fantasy world on fire, and this six-man tag is a perfect example. With a relatively low point ceiling, there's not a ton of reward for the roster investment. That said, if you've got an open spot or you're particularly high on EK Prosper or Jackson Drake, there are a few points up for grabs. Just don't expect this match to carry your team to victory.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinals Tuesday Night NXT | Potential Points: 0.5–1.5 each

The road to Dusty Cup glory continues with two quarterfinal matchups. While the immediate fantasy rewards are modest, these matches could offer value for GMs confident in picking the advancing teams.

The Wagner Brothers (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno) vs. BirthRight (Charlie Dempsey & Lexis King)

The Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs. Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)

At just 0.5–1.5 points per competitor, these aren't exactly waiver-wire blockbusters. However, if you believe one of these teams is a lock to advance, a strategic pickup could put a few extra points on the board. And with the tournament continuing, there may be some additional opportunities down the road. Sometimes fantasy success is about playing the long game.

THE GM'S FINAL WORD

This week's free agent market is all about maximizing opportunity without wasting valuable moves. Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley offer the biggest potential payday, while Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox could be sneaky investments if their match earns main event status. Beyond that, it's a game of calculated risks and small victories. Remember, you've only got a few free agent moves per week. Don't burn them chasing pennies when there might be championship gold sitting on the waiver wire.
