Event Recap
Man, Raw from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland threw down some serious Royal Rumble hangover energy with a mix of qualification bouts, returns, and brand-new surprises that kept the crowd buzzing — and, just as often, groaning in equal measure. Jey Uso, fresh off his shock 2025 Royal Rumble win, came out through the crowd like a rockstar and soaked up a ton of love before getting challenged — sort of — by Gunther, who basically told him he wasn’t worth his time, which got a rise out of fans and probably Jey’s ego. On the Elimination Chamber qualifier front, CM Punk punched his ticket to the Men’s Chamber with a gritty win over Sami Zayn, while Liv Morgan scored a DQ win over IYO SKY because Judgment Day shenanigans went sideways — extra credit chaos, classic Raw. The New Day brought their new entrance theme and teamed up to take down Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee, bailing out Rey after a Logan Paul attack added insult to injury, which was absolutely perfect and also infuriating all at once. And then there was AJ Styles officially getting his Raw contract signed, which got Heatbreak Championship contender Bron Breakker sputtering in protest backstage — exactly the kind of drilled-in-your-face moment you react to with a fist pump and an eye roll. All told, Raw felt like an electric hodge-podge of hype, qualifiers, and setup for Chamber, and even when it got a little silly, the buzz was real.

Summary
This one was gritty from bell to bell. Punk didn’t waste time getting in Zayn’s face, trading stiff strikes and counters early, but Sami brought the fire with his usual crafty offense and quick reversals. Punk kept grinding and blasting through Zayn’s comebacks until finally hitting a big GTS out of nowhere. After that, he dragged Zayn back into the center and got the three-count, punching his ticket to the Men’s Elimination Chamber. There weren’t loads of flukey moments — it was just two vets going at each other with genuine chops and punishments until Punk’s more decisive offense finally took hold. This felt like a qualification match that mattered.

Summary
Liv and SKY came out swinging, both keen to secure a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber. It was honestly fun — fast counters, sky-high offense from SKY, and Liv trying to ground her with grit. Judgement Day’s Raquel Rodriguez attempted to meddle near the end, and Rhea Ripley sprinted out to even the odds, which threw everything into chaos. Ripley’s boot met Liv by mistake, and the ref called for the bell, giving Liv the win by disqualification. It wasn’t the neatest finish, but it kept things tense and gave Liv her qualifying moment anyway

Summary
This ended up being short but punchy. Penta just had so much momentum that he didn’t bother to make this a drawn-out chess match. Ludwig showed flashes of offense, especially with some smart counters and a few nasty chops, but Penta caught him with a sequence of brutal strikes that felt legitimately impactful. A big Mexican Destroyer finally put Ludwig away, and Penta walked off clutching the win like a guy who feels like he’s on the rise. It wasn’t a clinic, but it was decisive.
