Event Recap
Monday Night Raw from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina on 9/29/25 hit the ground running with Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky’s simmering drama setting a tense tone, as Iyo was visibly shaken before Asuka and Kairi Sane ambushed both her and Ripley, misting Iyo and leaving them laid out in a brutal opening segment that had half the crowd pumped and half cringing at the messy beat‑down. Then it was time for Dominik Mysterio barely retaining the Intercontinental Championship over Rusev, as “Dirty Dom” pulled out every trick in the book — including a low blow and roll‑up — to survive Rusev’s firepower and cling to his belt, which drew a mix of cheers and “ugh” reactions. ([turn0search0][turn0search1][turn0search3]) Raquel Rodriguez handled Bayley, hitting the Tejana Bomb for a straightforward win after some Judgment Day interference, and afterwards Bayley’s psych‑out rescue attempt with Lyra Valkyria added a weirdly fun twist to that segment. The crowd got loud for LA Knight besting Kofi Kingston with a BFT, leaning into those “YEAH!” chants before the action turned back to tag team hustle when AJ Styles & Dragon Lee took down Los Americanos thanks to a Phenomenal Forearm and Styles Clash. To close the night, chaos hit its peak as The Usos survived a Tombstone‑style tornado tag against Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed, only after Roman Reigns returned with a steel chair, thundering in to decimate The Vision and swing the momentum back to his Bloodline — a comeback that got the biggest pop of the night and left fans buzzing as Raw signed off.

Summary
Dominik Mysterio’s title defence against the hulking Rusev was one of those “how did this actually happen?” affairs. Rusev absolutely bulldozed Dirty Dom for most of the bout, suplexing him all over and making the champ look like a rag doll early on. Dom finally hit a sneaky 619 and tried a frog splash that totally whiffed — classic. Rusev hit the Machka Kick and looked set to put him away, but Dom somehow kicked out. In the scramble that followed, Dom tried that Eddie Guerrero shtick, handing Rusev the title only to flop to the mat for a DQ attempt. When the ref wasn’t looking, Dirty Dom low‑blowed Rusev and rolled him up for the hold‑down pin — title still around Dom’s waist only because he cheated. The Raleigh crowd roared boos more than cheers for this one.

Summary
Bayley looked like she wanted this one bad and for a bit she did — hitting a full‑speed Swanton Bomb that actually got a nearfall and ignited the crowd. But Raquel Rodriguez’s raw power told for most of the match; she just steamrolled Bayley right back down. Roxanne Perez ‘helped’ by interfering at ringside, giving Ro a clear shot to spin Bayley into the Tejana Bomb and get the clean pin. Afterward it got messy — Bayley was getting pummelled 2‑on‑1 by Judgment Day, only for Lyra Valkyria to make the save. In a weird but cool beat, Bayley actually fought beside Lyra, not against her — that unexpected team‑up was the wildest part of this fight.

Summary
This match was basically LA Knight absorbing loud “Yeah!” chants and Kingston digging into New Day lore. Knight jumped Kofi from the jump, turning ringside into a slugfest and even distracting Kofi with Xavier Woods’ presence on the apron. Kofi tried to counter with Trouble in Paradise, but Knight read it perfectly and blasted him with the BFT for the pin. It wasn’t a barnburner — Kofi’s offense was fine, but Knight closed stronger and left with a win, which feels like one of those matches built more for crowd noise than anything else.
Summary
Styles and the high‑flying Dragon Lee were technically overqualified for this match, and it showed — they had it wrapped up pretty quick. El Grande Americano kept trying to get involved, which just made AJ take him out on the floor and get the bout back under control. Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm then planted Bravo Americano with the Styles Clash for the 1‑2‑3. It was brisk, it was tidy, and yeah — it served its purpose without much flash. Hardcore folks might complain, but if you like clean fundamentals and a straightforward result, you got it here.

Summary
This was the big chaos match of the night and woof did it feel like it. From bell to bell, all four men were brawling like they lost their coffee orders — clotheslines through tables, big slams right into the apron, the whole deal. Just when Reed and Breakker looked ready to bury The Usos, Roman Reigns’ music hit and the place exploded. The Tribal Chief didn’t just help — he brought a steel chair and tore into both Bron lads, practically swinging them out of the building. With the path cleared, Jimmy and Jey hit stereo uso splashes and spears to put it away. Post‑match, Roman’s assault on Reed and Breakker felt like the real story here — he wasn’t just back, he was back angry
