March 31, 2025 — The O2 Arena in London, England
Event Recap
The March 31, 2025 episode of WWE Raw rolled into the O2 Arena in London with a loud crowd and a show that felt busy from start to finish as WrestleMania crept closer. The biggest talking point came from the latest confrontation between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, and this one ended physically instead of just verbally. The two traded heated insults in the ring, with Rhodes calling out Cena’s attitude while Cena fired back that Rhodes hasn’t lived up to the hype. Eventually the argument boiled over and Rhodes blasted Cena with Cross Rhodes, leaving him laid out in the ring while the London crowd went wild. It wasn’t subtle, but it was effective and gave the audience the kind of WrestleMania tension they clearly wanted. In the ring, The New Day picked up a tag win over New Catch Republic, and afterward they wasted no time demanding a shot at the tag titles before staring down the champions, the War Raiders. Meanwhile, things got ugly between Gunther and Jimmy Uso, with the world heavyweight champion dismantling Jimmy and continuing the punishment even after the match ended. The attack left Jimmy bloodied and only made Jey Uso’s issues with Gunther feel even more personal heading toward their title showdown. Elsewhere, AJ Styles and Logan Paul kept their rivalry boiling with another confrontation that turned into a brawl, which at this point feels inevitable every time they’re in the same building. The main event saw Iyo Sky defend the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley with Bianca Belair serving as special guest referee. The match had plenty of chaos and eventually broke down into a double disqualification, which left the title situation unresolved and the ring in complete disorder. It wasn’t the clean finish people might have wanted, but the London crowd was loud, the wrestlers worked hard, and the road to WrestleMania keeps getting more heated every week.

The New Day
Summary
The New Day kicked off the in-ring action against New Catch Republic in a tag match that mixed speed with some stiff strikes. Dunne and Bate tried to control things early by isolating Woods and slowing the pace with joint manipulation and technical offense. Once Kingston got the tag, the tempo jumped and the match turned into a back-and-forth exchange with both teams landing quick double-team attacks. Bate nearly stole it after a strong sequence of offense, but New Day recovered and caught their opening. Kingston and Woods connected with their finishing combination to secure the pin and the win. Afterward they made it pretty clear they want the tag titles next, which led to a tense stare-down with the champions.

Summary
Jimmy Uso stepped into a rough situation taking on World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and the match turned into a pretty brutal showcase of the champion’s power. Jimmy tried to use speed and quick strikes to keep Gunther off balance early, landing superkicks and trying to stay out of the champion’s reach. That didn’t last forever. Once Gunther slowed things down, the tone changed fast. He punished Jimmy with heavy chops and methodical offense, breaking him down piece by piece. Jimmy kept fighting and even fired back with another superkick late in the match, but Gunther eventually shut things down and picked up the win. The damage didn’t stop there either—Gunther kept attacking after the bell and left Jimmy bloodied in the ring before officials stepped in.

The Judgment Day
Summary
This tag match had a lot of energy once the bell rang because Breakker and Penta came in looking like they actually wanted to fight instead of just wrestle. Breakker handled most of the power offense early while Penta added quick kicks and aerial attacks to keep Judgment Day scrambling. Bálor and Dominik slowed things down with some well-timed double-teams and a few distractions from ringside. The match eventually turned when Breakker and Penta had a miscommunication during a key moment. Judgment Day jumped on the mistake immediately, isolating Penta and finishing the match with their tandem offense to score the pin. After the loss, the tension between Breakker and Penta was pretty obvious as they argued backstage about what went wrong.

Summary
The main event saw Iyo Sky defend the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley with Bianca Belair acting as the special guest referee, which already felt like a recipe for chaos before the match even started. Ripley tried to overpower the champion early with heavy strikes and power moves, while Sky relied on speed and aerial offense to stay in the fight. The action built into a pretty intense back-and-forth battle with both women getting near falls and pushing the pace. Eventually the tension involving Belair spilled into the match and everything unraveled. The fight broke down with all three women getting involved, leading to the referee calling for a double disqualification. The match ended without a clear winner, leaving the ring in total chaos as Ripley stood tall while the title technically stayed with Sky.
