Summary

The New Day kicked off the in-ring action against New Catch Republic in a tag match that mixed speed with some stiff strikes. Dunne and Bate tried to control things early by isolating Woods and slowing the pace with joint manipulation and technical offense. Once Kingston got the tag, the tempo jumped and the match turned into a back-and-forth exchange with both teams landing quick double-team attacks. Bate nearly stole it after a strong sequence of offense, but New Day recovered and caught their opening. Kingston and Woods connected with their finishing combination to secure the pin and the win. Afterward they made it pretty clear they want the tag titles next, which led to a tense stare-down with the champions.
