The April 18, 2025 edition of WWE SmackDown served as the final stop before WrestleMania 41, and the Las Vegas crowd brought the kind of loud energy you’d expect when the biggest weekend of the year is about to start. The annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal brought the usual chaos of bodies flying over the top rope, with Carmelo Hayes ultimately outlasting Andrade in the final moments to claim the trophy. Meanwhile, the crowd got a dose of high-flying action when Rey Mysterio, Rey Fenix, and Dragon Lee teamed up to defeat Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers in a lively six-man tag. It felt exactly like a WrestleMania go-home SmackDown—some strong matches, a lot of shouting, and just enough chaos to remind everyone that the real fights are about to happen.

Just as things were heating up and it looked like the match was heading toward a clear finish, everything broke down. Outside chaos spilled into the ring and the match ultimately had to be stopped, resulting in a no contest before a definitive winner could be crowned. It was frustrating in a way—fans were clearly enjoying the match—but the action before the stoppage was energetic and competitive.

Zelina Vega and Chelsea Green delivered a shorter match, but it still had some entertaining moments.
