This was surprisingly physical for a go‑home title defense. Vega came out firing with quick strikes and even landed an avalanche German suplex that looked like it might swing things in her favor. Giulia soaked up the offense and started wearing Vega down with a solid mix of suplexes, an Arrivederci Knee, and plenty of sharp placement that kept Vega on her heels. Vega didn’t roll over — she kicked out after the first Northern Lights Bomb and got a “This is awesome!” chant going — but Giulia rallied back, hit a second bomb, and got the pin. Vega walked out looking tough, and Giulia held her gold with authority as she heads into SummerSlam.
